About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Duties

Analyze daily dining room census information, daily patient census information, previous food production estimates, and ingredient summaries to determine forecasting criteria. Determine menu item popularity percentages based on review and analysis of production worksheets from previous menu cycle. Ensure that all operations of Production and Service Branch (recipe and food production, withdrawal and delivery of inventory items) are adequately performed incorporating pertinent local data as necessary. Create non-forecasting items template/day of the week template to generate requisition list for inventory withdraw/delivery. Work as cashier on an as needed basis during absence of assigned cashiers. Provide general guidance and information to cashiers for operation of electric cash register system, which maintains nearly 100% menu items per day.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
