About the Position: This position is located at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Duties

Performs front desk duties in the absence of personnel and assists with GENESIS (Electronic Health Record) functions when needed and provides oversight of front desk staff and reports it to the Administrator or the Work Unit Supervisor. Monitors daily appointing activities and utilize the hospital information data systems to enter and retrieve data. Coordinates the planning and scheduling of all Directorate/clinic training. Review schedules and resolve discrepancies with provider and supervisor.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• A pre-placement medical examination is required.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
