About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology, Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market.

Duties
Oversee documentation and correspondence for favorable accreditation of training program.
Coordinate communication between hospital education department and residency program.
Administer training and examinations within the program.
Draft annual board reports of program performance.
Collect assessment data for program process improvement.
Utilize methods of office automation to track and report program statistics.
Participate in regular meetings on faculty development.
Oversee budgetary and financial arrangements for the program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations. Applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support, managing automated data and files, assisting residents in preparing a variety of documents, and ensuring the graduate medical education residency program is in compliance with a regulatory agency's standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
