The selectee will serve as a Program Support Specialist in the Office of Enterprise Readiness, Administrative Operations Division. Typical work assignments include:

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: You qualify at the GS-11 (starting salary $78,592) level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level performing duties such as; assisting in coordinating various facilities and property management projects; performing surveys to assess effectiveness of new and existing programs; devising appropriate methods for securing the required data by developing information-gathering tools such as surveys and on-site interviews; and coordinating administrative and logistical support of major events and designated National Security Events (NSSEs). Experience with inputting and gathering data from GSA Programs such as Electronic Entry and Tracking Application (eRETA) and Electronic Occupancy Agreement (eOA)are desired as is experience with Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint and or facility management software such as TRIRIGA . A solid understanding and capacity to use various MS Excel functions to calculate and correlate information on multiple assets is highly desired. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. if related, OR A combination of graduate level education and experience. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. GS-12: You qualify at the GS-12 (starting salary $94,199) level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level performing duties such as; preparing narrative and/or statistical reports for various management officials, on highly complex and sophisticated programs and projects; evaluating facilities and property reporting systems; assisting with the acquisition, assignment and utilization of space within an organization; and coordinating administrative support functions to ensure optimum support of major events including logistics, acquisition, and attendant activities (i.e. facilities, renovations, parking, office property and vehicle fleet services). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current competitive service employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. NOTE: All current or former Federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50, "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). You may need to submit more than one SF-50 to comply. Qualifications Must Be Met: The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement.The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
