This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position:
The C5ISR Center is soliciting candidates to serve as a Team Lead within the Quality Assurance & Test Branch, Program Integration & Engineering Division, Engineering and Systems Integration Directorate.
Duties
Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) .
Ensure the compliance quality standards such as ISO 9001 and best practices.
Serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR) for the PIF.
Oversee the conduct of internal and external audits of the PIF QMS.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, work instructions and other documentation to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards.
Analyze data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement in product quality.
Provide timely feedback to other teams and other relevant stakeholders.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality processes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- Extended probationary period for the Engineers and Scientists Occupational Family is three years.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Temporary business travel is required away from the duty station up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Specialized Experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DB-02 pay band (GS-11 level) in the Federal Service which includes experience in one or more of the following areas:1) Supervising, directing, leading, or mentoring others to meet mission goals; 2) Experience developing strategic plans, systems Acquisition, or program / budget development; 3) Analyzing engineering/scientific data for use in program/project improvement and/or troubleshooting.
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
