You will serve as a Motor Transport Dispatcher/Transportation Assistant in the S-4 Logistics Section, Security and Emergency Services Battalion (SES) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will perform clerical and administrative duties pertaining to dispatching services, the preparation and review of trip tickets, and maintaining dispatch control sheets. You will determine transportation needs from, to, and within the Battalion and ensure availability of required vehicles and services. You will physically inspect vehicles for cleanliness or damage. You will assist with the logistical setup and tear down of equipment for functions such as retirement ceremonies, parades, special events, etc. You will prepare and maintain special reports and statistics pertaining to vehicle rotation, vehicle maintenance, and vehicles utilized.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05 ) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: Performing administrative duties pertaining to dispatching services, preparing trip tickets, recording maintenance for vehicles.
