You will serve as a Division Process Manager in the Lifting and Handling Department of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will manage the planning, execution, and quality control for non-nuclear work during assigned shift within the Lifting and Handling Department.
You will ensure that work performed is accomplished in accordance with governing directives, instructions, plans, cost, quality, and schedule.
You will develop short and long-range plans to provide manning, facilities, material, and equipment to support scheduled and unscheduled urgent work for the organizations covered.
You will oversee continual workforce training to ensure that qualified personnel are available to meet planned and unplanned work and to support shifting priorities.
You will coordinate and provide authoritative responses to audits, surveillances, incident reports, and other internal and external reviews.
You will manage and organize work performed by others in accomplishing highly diverse and complex trade operations.
Requirements

- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position requires the ability to climb ladders, scaffolding and stairs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing trade shop processes and performance improvement programs that support crane operations and rigging processes including planning, quality assurance, execution, trade process management, management of resources and continuous training and development in order to ensure resources are available to meet project schedules.
