THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a Logistics Management Specialist, Position Description Number PDD1414P01 and is part of the WY 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard.
Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to manage, direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Wing Logistics planning. Serves as the Logistics Officer/Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist. This position is responsible for fully prepared, assigned unit personnel and equipment for Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world.
(1) Manages, directs, and implements the local formulation and publication of installation deployment guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives issued by higher headquarters.
(2) Identifies all required deployment/redeployment support with the Wing Staff Air Mobility/Command (AMC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) regarding the transportation of equipment and personnel.
(3) Plans, develops, directs, and conducts deployment training for the wing and units.
(4) Develops and schedules manpower and workload requirements for the organization deployment work centers and ensures they are fully staffed and trained.
(5) Assists units by providing guidance and conducting staff assistance visits to identify, correct, and assist with deployment problems.
Qualifications
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Referrals of qualified applicants will be issued in the following order:
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6: Current and prior service military members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
AFSC REQUIREMENT:
Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC R21R3, Logistics Readiness. In order to receive Prefix "R", must become qualified to serve in positions requiring functional area expertise, and experience and training in contingency or war planning functions.
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
