THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, Position Description Number D0881P01 and is part of the WY Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics, Wyoming Army National Guard.
Duties
The primary purpose of the position is to provide logistics guidance and support to units, organizations and activities through the management of logistics activities.
(1) Directs the development of the logistics support plan and guidance for units, organizations and activities in support of federal and state missions to integrate the following command logistic functions; plans, operations, policies, SASMO equipment on hand readiness, command property management, command supply discipline program, supply excellence program, Connelly Food Service Award Program, DoD National Transportation Association Award Program, food service.
(2) --Evaluates logistics data and requirements from JFHQ staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations to direct development and implementation of logistic support plans, policies, operations and other actions to support federal and state missions.
(3) Performs a full range of supervisory functions. Implements accepted provisions of personnel management such as equal employment, merit promotion, career development, performance appraisals, employee counseling, incentive awards and position management.
(4) Responsible for advising the DOL DCSLOG/G4 on logistics support issues to accomplish mission requirements.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Referrals of qualified applicants will be issued in the following order:
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 4: All current M-day soldiers of the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves, or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

Min: WO1, O1 / 2LT
Max: CW4, O4 / MAJ

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities to provide the money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support a specified mission at the time and place they are needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 12 months experience at GS-11 Logistics or Supply management OR must possess at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain MOS 915A, 920A, 90A, 92A, 91A, or 88A or able to obtain MOSQ within 24 months.
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
