This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Operations Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides the Director, Senior Deputy Director, and Deputy Director with expert assistance and advice on technical and policy matters.

Duties
Provide the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR) Director, or Senior Deputy/Deputy, with expert advice on technical and policy aspects of the Corporation’s activities, including those related to operational/organizational management.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as as experience leading or coordinating activities in at least three of the six following areas:
1) Managing the overall budget and cost management activities for a division/office; or
2) Leading the strategic planning activities for a division/office; or
3) Directing the acquisition activities for a division/office; or
4) Managing or leading the human resource administration activities for a division/office; or
5) Managing system development, maintenance and information technology requirements for a division/office; or
6) Overseeing the development and implementation of a system of internal controls for a division/office.
