You will serve as a Administrative Support Assistant in the Navy Recruiting Command of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT MICHIGAN.
Duties
You will distribute mail to appropriate staff members in support of necessary action items.
You will obtain documents and messages electronically using personnel computer, fax machines, and scanners to support the administrative procedures.
You will analyze and recommend improvements to office systems or processes.
You will compose, type, copy, and edit correspondence and reports from rough to final draft.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating office equipment such as copiers, personal computers and fax machines to create, edit, receive and send emails and other correspondence, reports, presentations, and various supporting documents; 2) Developing spreadsheets, maintaining various databases and tracking systems to ensure data correctness and completion; 3) Reviewing documents for proper formatting and accuracy in spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
