You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the SUPPLY OFFICE of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT SAN FRAN.

Duties

You will initiate procurement purchase requests to maintain adequate stock levels of office supply inventory You will coordinate travel for office personnel for lifecycle of visit (e.g., reservations, notifying organizations and officials to be visited, security clearances, itineraries, travel vouchers and reports upon completion of travel). You will arrange for maintenance, repair, or procurement of office equipment and supplies. You will maintain files or records to keep documents organized according to the organization's polices or procedures. You will use a computer database to maintain and update electronic records that support an organization's programs and projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Recommending solutions to procurement problems; 2) Utilizing knowledge in joint defense travel regulations, procedures, and policies in providing travel support; 3) Utilizing Microsoft programs and other automated systems to prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents for office administrative support; and 4) Maintaining accurate facilities records according to rules, regulations, and policies.
