About the Position: This position is located at Falls Church, Virginia. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

Plans, organizes, and guides the cost estimating operations. Develops independent cost estimates on multiple efforts and mathematical cost models for use in developing cost estimates. Conducts cost analyses/reviews in support of acquisition milestone decisions and associated programming and budgeting activities, or emergent year of execution system change requests. Manages the development and maintenance of life cycle benefits estimates (LCBE) for acquisition projects. Provides expert guidance to senior management officials concerning cost estimating and analysis. Plans work to be accomplished to achieve objectives outlined above, assigns work to be accomplished by other Branch personnel or contractors based on priorities.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
• Advanced: This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Business-Financial Management certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
