Duties

Must be 18 years of age to serve alcohol. Secures linen, glassware and silverware, depending on the particular format (menu, food and beverages). Readies groups of tables for food and beverages, making sure that dishes, glasses and silverware meet cleanliness standards, and that linens are spotless and condiment containers filled. Follows specific instructions and rigid timelines, secures food from kitchen, and carries beverages from bar and serves customers. Refills food and beverage containers and performs cleanup services. Performs cleaning duties as required to include washing duties. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and/or complete food handlers training.

Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and prepare checks for patrons. Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Must be able to communicate with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
