Qualifications

All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. To qualify for this position at the IC-13 level (starting salary $112,015), you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate ALL of the following:  Specialized experience for this position includes:  Utilizing Data Analysis Techniques to Develop Pro-Active Investigations. Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine that controls are established to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse vulnerabilities. Inspecting and analyzing control measures incorporated in Program Computer and Data Resources, and operational processes for vulnerabilities regarding fraud, waste, and abuse. Writing complex evidential based reports. AND In conjunction with the Specialized Experience, applicants must also meet the Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR) for Training Instruction Series 1515 per the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions: Education Requirements: Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
