This position is located in the Office of Communications of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and demonstrates expertise in using content to attract and engage internal and external stakeholders, using strategic and creative skills to refine, enhance, and drive FDIC brand awareness, and promote programs and services.

Duties
-Uses knowledge of content strategy and content design to improve content across FDIC digital properties and ensure consistent voice and appropriate tone that aligns with FDIC branding.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience 1) creating content for use across multiple contexts and communication channels (such as mobile, SMS, desktop, web based products); 2) organizing information for websites, digital applications, or other data projects; and 3) manipulating content or information resources for digital projects within an organization.
