You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN) in the Info Mgmt/Info Tech/Command Control Department of NAS PENSACOLA.
Duties
You will perform risk assessments of information systems to develop new approaches in resolving security issues.
You will write configuration status reports for senior leaders to review.
You will perform a risk analysis of information technology (IT) systems to identify problems and recommend solutions.
You will brief senior leaders on information technology services management issues.
You will advise employees on information technology (IT) program goals and objectives.
You will evaluate revised information technology (IT) policy to determine impact on organizational operations.
You will administer information assurance (IA) programs to support the operation of information technology (IT) networks or infrastructures.

- Obtain the foundational qualification within nine months and the residential qualification within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in DoDM 8140.03.
- Participate in continuous professional development program as described in DoDM 8140.03. An annual 20 hour min of Cyber Workforce related continuous professional dev must be documented/completed in a current IDP signed by the employee and supervisor.

Qualifications
I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four One year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Monitor customer information technology (IT) performance trends to identify standard remedies at different support Tier levels (e.g., Tier-1, Tier-2, or Tier-3).
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Present information technology (IT) program strategies to senior leaders for the incorporation of emerging technologies.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Perform a risk analysis of information technology (IT) systems to identify problems and recommend solutions.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
1. Experience in managing or assisting in the management of Information Technology(IT) in support of Operational Technology aspects of Industrial Controls Systems(ICS) integrated in utility and facilities infrastructure; 2. Experience in leading or participating in projects related to long range utilities and facilities infrastructure operating and maintenance plans for Information Assurance (IA) and IT aspects of ICS, through evaluation of system design, condition, constraints, future requirements, etc.; AND 3. Experience in conducting reviews of IT plans and policies to ensure alignment with business and operational requirements as well as changes in legislation or regulatory requirements.
