You will serve as a Materials Handler Leader in the Supply Management Department Mid-Atlantic (SMDMA) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Duties
You will pass on to other workers instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be
performed by individual members of the group led).
You will assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed (e.g., assure that machine capacities are not exceeded and that tools are property used).
You will operate various types of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated high rise stacker lifts and motor vehicles to pick up, transport, and store industrial and other types of material.
You will provide for material accountability through timely and accurate input of transactions to properly reflect the status of stock and material movement actions at all times.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
