About the Position: United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is the contracting element of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) and provides support to the Command Headquarters and its world network of laboratories and medical logistics organization.

Duties

Serves a SharePoint technical expert and lead administrator, which includes managing site layout, user access, control access to document libraries, and set permissions. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint site issues and malfunctions. Consult with leadership and staff to develop a strategy for the optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization. Assist the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) with management of the organization’s IA program, policies, and procedures, including knowledge of IA/Cybersecurity practices and procedures. Be familiar with the function and use of DoD Cybersecurity tools and processes including, but not limited to, eMASS, ACAS, and vulnerability management. Administer access to USAMRAA’s Virtual Contracting Enterprise (VCE) site and collaborate with the PMO to troubleshoot and resolve common issues. Serve as a Government Administrator (GAM) in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) to administer access to organization roles and functions.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a 2 year probationary period.
  • Business travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

The DJ-04 payband is equivalent to the GS-13/Step 1 to GS-14/Step 10 level. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level positions in the Federal Service (DJ-03/GS-12). The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion or specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: 1.
