Duties
You will serve as subject matter expert (SME) on leveraging the analysis of intelligence products for the development of cyber operations plans.
You will coordinate with cyber operations planners to identify, validate, and levy requirements for collection and analysis.
You will provide integration and focus for intelligence activities that are critical to the execution of JFHQC/USINDOPACOM cyber mission objectives.
You will collaborate with Cyberspace Operations – Integrated Planning Elements (CO-IPE), USCYBERCOM Directorates, operational planning teams (OPT), cross functional planning teams (CFT), Intelligence Community (IC) and other DoD and Allied partners.
You will define, plan, coordinate, and synchronize cyber analysis and production, collection, and other actions of cyber forces.
You will conduct cyber planning requirements and assessments/advise division team members on the integration of Navy/DoD IC standards and processes into targeting, assessments, and fires plans to address threat vectors and unclear vulnerabilities.
You will present findings of assessments to further refine cyber intelligence planning requirements and improve the overall quality of operational planning processes as well as develop initiatives to address systemic/emergent planning deficiencies.

- You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in DoDM 8140.03 for specialty area 331 within 12 months of appointment.
- Irregular tours of duty, occasional evening/weekend work, and/or extended duty may be required.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
*Experience applying cyber and intelligence planning, analysis, production, and assessment and operations concepts, principles, and practices essential to cyber operations planning efforts;
*Experience performing complex assignments by applying advanced cyber intelligence concepts and knowledge of cyber threats impacting information networks;
*Experience providing expertise regarding cyber and intelligence operations processes, strategic planning, resource management, and the Joint Targeting Cycle (JTC) doctrine to analyze and address difficult unprecedented requirements;
*Experience displaying in-depth knowledge of information operations (IO) and the cyber environment and ability to derive courses of action, based on inductive/deductive reasoning, in order to assess target vulnerabilities in relation to operational capabilities.
This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at SENIOR WORK LEVEL III, Series and Grade GG-0301-14.
