You will serve as a Information Specialist (APPSW) in the Applications Development Section of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will perform technical evaluations on end-user's request for hardware, software and applications to determine the validity of the requirement and/or the capability of the infrastructure to accommodate stated requirements. You will prepare testing and implementation plans. You will establish test criteria and data to ensure all program modules and outputs for assigned projects are tested for completeness and accuracy. You will develop web/portal sites and database applications to meet customer requirements using the automated tools and infrastructure as prescribed by the standards, legacy network, and the Navy Marine Corps Intranet. You will provide support, preparation for, and in the conduct of Information Systems Coordinators meetings. and other informational or instructional technical briefs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Operate and maintain network planning, configuration and application hosting; and leading major technology initiatives and integration across various functional areas to support business operations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
