BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: continuation The incumbent serves as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Associate Director for Capabilities (ADC), and as the NGA Component Acquisition Executive (CAE). The CAE executes on behalf of the Director, NGA, all required acquisition-based statute, regulatory and policy requirements. As a member of NGA's senior leadership team, provides leadership for identifying, acquiring, partnering, developing, delivering, and sustaining capabilities for current and future operations. This includes continuous improvement of capabilities, development of future capabilities and technologies that out-compete adversaries, and leveraging all government, academia, and commercial partners to retain and extend/enhance U.S. GEOINT dominance. The incumbent synchronizes agency governance, processes, technology, resources and activities to ensure agency alignment with national and defense intelligence goals, NGA's mission and strategy, oversight guidance, and strategic GEOINT approaches of the NSG/ASG. Incumbent will formulate future strategy for the NSG and ASG and work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders in its formulation and accomplishment. The ADC/CAE manages the NGA Acquisition Workforce and the NGA Acquisition portfolio, providing effective, rigorous, and transparent oversight of personnel and programs, in compliance with the prevailing statutory and regulatory framework. The ADC/CAE ensures timely, accurate reporting to DoD and IC acquisition oversight officials. Additionally, the ADC/CAE provides oversight, synchronization, guidance, and development of NGA strategic direction, future resource programming, capabilities planning and acquisition, partnerships, innovation, research, the adoption of new technologies, and the maintenance of existing technologies.Required Qualifications: Position is an Acquisition Key Leadership Position. PM Advanced Certification, 10 years of acquisition experience in an acquisition workforce position, with at least4 years performed while assigned to a Critical Acquisition Position, a 3-year tenure agreement, and experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager are required for appointment as CAE. Additionally, completion of DAU's Program Manager's Courses (PMT 4010 and PMT 4020) are required within 6 months of assuming the position.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: Eligibility for this executive level position will be based upon a clear demonstration that the applicant has experience of the scope and quality sufficient to effectively carry out the assignments of the position. The successful applicants will be distinguished from other applicants by a review of the following Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs), Intelligence Community (IC) Senior Officer Core Qualification (SOCQs) Standards, and Education Requirements, if required. Failure to meet a Qualification requirement will disqualify an applicant.
