Duties

As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on critical IT issues. Responsible for the strategic planning, coordination and direction of a full range of IT activities, including budget oversight and planning for current and future regional needs. Oversee computer and IT security operations ensuring efficient, secure, quality systems are maintained. Perform all technical and administrative responsibilities/functions incumbent of a supervisor.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify at the ZP-4 or GS-13 level: Specializedexperience: Applicants must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the ZP-3 pay band or GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following: Contributing technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on critical IT issues; Assisting in planning, coordination and direction of a full range of IT services; Supporting an organization's computer and IT security operations to ensure systems are maintained; and Assisting in leadership duties such as: leading a team, managing work, setting goals. AND For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
