Responsible for issuing, receipts and control of funds and inventory. Assist manager for processing all paperwork related to inventory, purchasing, scheduling, payroll and personnel actions. Responsible for ensuring all requirements under governing AFI, Operation Instruction, Funds Handling, Fire and Safety Regulations, Dram Shop and Food Code are maintained within the Arnold Hall. Provides oversight, guidance, and instructions to all employees of Arnold Hall F&B. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility and that all policies, regulations and established procedure are followed by both employees and patrons. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Required to bartend and may be required to serve as barista when needed. Prepares and deliver catering items as scheduled as part of Polaris Perk Coffee Shop. Trains new employees. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Required to serve as barista and prepare catering and deliver items as scheduled. Ensures facility is maintained in a clean and neat manner and is secured when not in operation. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in the following: food and beverage operations and customer service operations; cash handling procedures and sales operations such as: receipt, disbursement, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods; demonstrates ability to provide work direction to employees in Arnold Hall F&B; knowledge of fire, safety and health regulation; must possess skills in dealing with the public and handling customer issues. Requires a Tier I Background investigation.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
