Responsible for monitoring and assisting managers with the daily operation of the Arnold Hall food and beverage operations, which include HAPS, cadet lounge, and Polaris Perk, Arnold Hall coffee shop, normally during absesce of the managers.
Responsible for issuing, receipts and control of funds and inventory.
Assist manager for processing all paperwork related to inventory, purchasing, scheduling, payroll and personnel actions.
Responsible for ensuring all requirements under governing AFI, Operation Instruction, Funds Handling, Fire and Safety Regulations, Dram Shop and Food Code are maintained within the Arnold Hall.
Provides oversight, guidance, and instructions to all employees of Arnold Hall F&B.
Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility and that all policies, regulations and established procedure are followed by both employees and patrons.
Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems.
Required to bartend and may be required to serve as barista when needed.
Prepares and deliver catering items as scheduled as part of Polaris Perk Coffee Shop.
Trains new employees.

Ensures facility is maintained in a clean and neat manner and is secured when not in operation.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

- This position requires the incumbent to obtain a food handler's certificate.
- This position requires the incumbent to meet the minimum age requirement for working with and serving alcoholic beverages.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in the following: food and beverage operations and customer service operations; cash handling procedures and sales operations such as: receipt, disbursement, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods; demonstrates ability to provide work direction to employees in Arnold Hall F&B; knowledge of fire, safety and health regulation; must possess skills in dealing with the public and handling customer issues.
Requires a Tier I Background investigation.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
