Duties

This position is located under the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs (PGA), Executive Secretariat in Washington, District of Columbia.

Qualifications

To qualify for 13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12. Additional Conditions of Employment: GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Coordinating, planning and directing all phases of large-scale, multiple events; and Conducting assessments, surveys, cost/benefit analysis, budgetary projections, personnel resources; and Developing plans of action and coordinating operations involving numerous functional areas, large numbers of people, limited resources, and competing priorities for special events; and Preparing written materials including position papers, letters, announcements, invitations, newsletter and/or magazine articles, detailed reports, etc.; and Preparing and presenting briefings and papers to internal officials and external organizations. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
