To qualify for 13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12. Additional Conditions of Employment: GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Coordinating, planning and directing all phases of large-scale, multiple events; and Conducting assessments, surveys, cost/benefit analysis, budgetary projections, personnel resources; and Developing plans of action and coordinating operations involving numerous functional areas, large numbers of people, limited resources, and competing priorities for special events; and Preparing written materials including position papers, letters, announcements, invitations, newsletter and/or magazine articles, detailed reports, etc.; and Preparing and presenting briefings and papers to internal officials and external organizations.
