This position is part of the Associate Administrator for Management and Budget, DOE/NNSA. A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist located in the Employment and Workforce Planning Division of NNSA HR. This position serves as the Division Director for Staffing and Classification, providing leadership, direction, and coordination to effectively manage major components of the federal civilian human resources program.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-03 or GS-14. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One-year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Advising managers and employees on federal civilian staffing and recruitment regulations, policies and procedures; AND
Leading teams toward achieving objectives and goals in human capital areas such as staffing and classification; AND
Making recommendations for improving staffing and recruitment processes and procedures.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
