You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Policy and Planning) in the Network Services and Strategy Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will serve as the Enterprise Strategy Planner and Service Section leader for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) and Marine Corps Information Environment Enterprise (MCIEE). You will lead efforts to draft, assess, refine, document, and disseminate policy issuances addressing the provision and use of Marine Corps enterprise services. You will draft staff policy directives to appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and affected functional components throughout HQMC and the field. You will ensure visibility and transparency throughout IC4 of policy development issues that merit direct attention through status reports, white papers and face-to-face briefings.

• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 752 level II- Advanced within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervises, performs, or manages a variety of network governance, design, planning, policy/ procedure/ process development, staff support, administrative communications, and workgroup management; and Justifies the purchase of new equipment; and advises, guides, and recommends solutions for critical IT issues, IT architecture; new IT developments and applications; emerging technologies and their applications to business processes. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
