You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (OA) in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC A/C DEPARTMENT, COMMAND OPERATIONS DIVISION of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.
Duties
You will independently perform various general clerical duties in support of organizations office operations.
You will accurately prepare reports, correspondence or other documents using Microsoft office, to ensure correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
You will write reports outlining processes and procedures.
You will analyze, verify, and correlate basic data to support studies and recommendations.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
Preparing presentations, justifications, and detailed reports, which support the Competency position for financial, budgetary and economic status of assigned programs;
Evaluates management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems;
Utilizing computer and software such as spreadsheets, data management systems, to perform a variety of basic automation functions;
Ensuring requirements for classified materials and sensitive documents are properly followed; and
Preparing reports for higher level employees regarding recurring problems that cause significant delays or costs and the corrective actions needs or taken.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
