This position is at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in the Office of Inspector General (OIG). This position serves as an Office Manager (OA) providing support to the Inspector General (IG), the Deputy IG, Counsel/AIGI, and the OIG staff. The incumbent performs a variety of administrative, research, and technical support duties, many of which may be of a confidential and sensitive nature.

- A probationary/trial period may be required.

Qualifications
To qualify for the CU-09 grade level, you must have one of the following:
A. Specialized Experience:
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
All applicants applying for the CU-09 grade level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-08grade level obtained in the private or public sector. This must include all of the experience below:
Managing an office's administrative functions;
Preparing, proofreading, and modifying documents, letters, reports, or memoranda; and
Utilizing automated systems to prepare purchase requisitions, budget formulation, or reports.
OR
B. Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (36 semester hours, 54 quarter hours) leading to such a degree related to the duties of the position such as business administration, management, or human resources. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
C. Combination of Education and Experience: Applicants may combine education and experience to qualify at this level.
