Duties
Provide technical support across multiple sites for available network technologies and the LAN/WAN networking infrastructure environment.
Develop and assist with system requirements configuration documentation, drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Contributing to the improvement of system guidelines and policies and ensuring security compliance of network systems within the agency's operational guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer reported problems and network issues and perform administrative tasks via LAN/WAN, voice, data internet connectivity, cloud, VPN, and load balancing administrative portal interfaces.
Prepare and present project documentation and technical presentations to project stakeholders.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Installing, configuring, supporting, analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining work concerned with on premise and cloud network services. Applies available technologies and basic management principles to adapt network services methods and procedures to a variety of infrastructure, platform, and end user services. Oversees/performs equipment installation or relocation, testing, and acceptance processes. Responds to and resolves problems with software, hardware, and systems management. Assists with defining, analyzing, and drafting network requirements, specifications, and related documentation.
In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
