This position is in the department of Visitor Experience and Evaluation (VE), in the division of the Deputy Director (DD). This position is responsible for performing administrative and technical tasks that support projects aligned with the operational goals of visitor experience at the National Gallery of Art.
As the Gallery Support Specialist, you will:

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-301-09.
For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-7 level in the Federal service, administering any type of office for at least a year in the arts, culture, education, or other related fields.

Office Administration – Ability to document and record information, organize schedules, and perform routine secretarial assignments.
Communication – Skill in both oral and written communication, for the use of coordination, reporting and delivering information.
