About the Position: Position is located in the Directorate of Admissions (DAD), Enrollment and Recruiting Branch. The purpose of the position is to perform clerical support work in support of admission officers assigned to the branch.
Duties
Handles all elements of candidate applications and facilitates corresponding scheduling requirements.
Performs administrative, clerical, and general duties in support of regional admissions programs.
Assists candidate technician in prioritizing and accomplishing workflow. Adheres to and recommends improvements to internal operation procedures. Work closely with candidate technician to optimize team performance.

General Experience: One year progressively responsible experience, clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: maintaining office files; preparing correspondence using correct format, spelling, and grammar; screening calls and visitors; maintaining calendars and suspenses; utilizing office automation software; or performing other clerical and office administration This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college, or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
