About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency located within the Puget Sound Market, Army Medical Center Madigan within the Information Management Department, Tacoma, Washington.
Duties
Serve as a supervise and provide direction to civilian and contracted employees.
Serve as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) subject matter expert.
Serve as a United Postal Officer.
Ensure all health center’s regulations, memorandums, pamphlets, and forms are reviewed and accessible to management.
Maintain and ensure SharePoint page is current with latest publications, polices and forms as well as the organizational directories and rosters.
Ensure checklist are properly developed and utilized to verify files are current and created correctly under ARIMS.
Ensure supply forms, regulation are adequate and accountable and sensitive forms are properly stored.
Assist in training staff on Record Management Programs, ARIMS, Office Symbol Management and record program inspections.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing/drafting regulations, memorandums, pamphlets, publications, distributing mail, process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, records management, and updating data systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at one lower grade level position in the federal service (GS-06).
