About the Position: This position is located with the Department of Defense Health Agency Puget Sound Market, Army Medical Center Madigan, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA.
Duties
Serve as a Management Assistant, assist with the manpower, expense, and workload management systems.
Make updates to files and tables in DMHRSI Labor Cost Assignment by coordinating and updating project, tasks, organization structure, local organizations, timecard approvers and timekeeper specialists.
Monitor workload statistics are accurately collected and recorded.
Review timecard status reports to identify errors and missing timecards.
Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in the data.
Provide individual and group briefings in the proper techniques for entering timecards with available and non-available man-hours.
Requirements

- This position requires some occasional travel outside the commuting area.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising personnel on the best method to enter man-hour data into a timecard system and collecting, reviewing and maintaining manpower data using Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: Successfully completed one full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management, Business Administration or Business degree in Accounting. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify).
