This position is in the Mental Health Service of the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS). In order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of one of the following MH Programs, Homeless Programs, SATP, MHC, Suicide Prevention or Life Skills Programs, the incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support, along with conducting internal audits and program analysis.
Duties
Duties to include but not limited to:
Uses available data sources such as VSSC, MHIS, VISTA and ECHCS SharePoint to provide routine and requested data.
Maintain programs needs such as handouts calendars, group schedules, accreditation documents.
Ordering supplies, maintain staffing needs, acquires in house resources, by using purchase card and maintaining contracts.
Maintains positive effective working relationships that supports the needs of the service and organization.
Performs a variety of administrative and support type duties in such areas administration, budget, purchasing, records management, property accountability, travel and reports.
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 07:30am to 16:00pm

Physical Requirements: The work places no special physical demands on the employee. The work includes some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light items such as paper and books.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
GS-06 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes: performing clerical/administrative duties in an office environment; answering and directing phone calls; preparing correspondence; maintaining files/records; and using a computer to perform a variety of support tasks. At this grade level, applicants should have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform assignments independently with minimal oversight.
There is no educational substitution for the GS-06 level.
