About the Position: This position is for a Medical Support Assistant (FAP/OA) at Fort Moore, GA located within Martin Army Community Hospital.

Duties

Perform various clerical, record keeping, and miscellaneous duties required for the proper and timely care of patients. Coordinate and/or schedule patient appointments with various clinics or at other medical treatment facilities. Resolve complaints of a local administrative nature and refers other complaints to appropriate authorities. Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact in person or telephonically.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a mandatory Seasonal Influenza vaccination requirement.
  • Incumbent is required to be screened for applicable immunizations and are subject to missing/required immunizations.
  • Pre-Appointment physical.
  • Child Care Background checks and Investigation.
  • This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
