You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the FTL ORDNANCE & SUPPLY DIV, DIRECTOR, MARITIME HEADQUARTERS of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
You will lead and serve as the single point of entry for Fleet Command Property and Equipment functional accountability.
You will provide oversight for Fleet Operational Property and Equipment accountability requirements for all afloat, expeditionary and ashore facilities.
You will ensure all programmatic requirements are in compliance with current laws, regulations, policy, controls and mandates.
You will ensure tests and evaluations of all evolving and new processes and internal controls vetted through the operational forces and meets compliancy, standardization requirements, and has adequate resources to execute.
You will present briefings on the status of projects and programs.
You will provide service to all afloat, expeditionary and ashore facilities throughout the USFF Enterprise
procuring property using BSO 60 funds.
You will articulate systemic and resource shortfalls to gain consensus in order to resolve differences and/or gain buy in from other stakeholders.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying property management concepts and methods, and ability to apply such knowledge to the executive-level planning and direction of a broad-based analysis and services program, the mission of which is to envision, develop and implement new approaches to anticipate, define and be optimally responsive to the rapidly evolving operational supply requirements and priorities.
Experience understanding the importance of property accountability and how it relates to Fleet readiness and fiscal control.
Knowledge of the Fleet's (BSO) organization. This includes reporting structure and subordinate echelon commands.
Experience understanding the segments and applicable policies for the segments under their control. This includes General Equipment, Government Furnished Property, Navy Working Capital Fund Inventory, Operating Materials and Supplies, and Individual Use Software.
Experience leading diverse and organizationally complex teams to execute policy requirements and provide measures to promote completion of arduous requirements.
