Duties
You will support the Principle Assistant Program Manager for the Submarine Tender Program on all program acquisition efforts.
You will function as a programmatic authority within and outside of the organization.
You will assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures.
You will prepare, present, review, and approve major reports and briefings for internal and external distribution up to and including Flag/SES Level.
You will resolve diverse viewpoints and controversial issues.
You will manage cost, schedule and performance of the Submarine Tender effort and to ensure all manner of Government support is effectively executing.
You will lead efforts associated with program milestones and SETR events.
You will review and approve contract plans, modifications and specifications.
You will work with Business and Financial Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in all phases of Program Planning, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) to identify, secure, apply and maintain resources for program/project requirements.
You will lead the actions of diverse, professional level, multi-disciplinary, integrated federal and contractor teams in support of program planning and execution activities.
You will direct assignments and mentor junior personnel to encourage employee development and cross-functional growth to meet organizational needs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
