Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As a/an Management Information Specilaist, you will:
Serve as the Office Technology Coordinator (OTC) for the Office and liaisons with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) as required by the OTC role.
Provide SharePoint administration and site support for all OGC lines of business, including E-Discovery, Clearance Calendar, Biweekly Report and Multifamily Document Reform Implementation. The E-Discovery and Biweekly Report work is highly confidential as it provides access to and prior knowledge of grievance responses, proposed disciplinary actions, and advance information of management's positions with regard to the disposition of grievances and other labor relations matters.
Work closely with attorneys in Personnel Law to support cases by providing backup E-Discovery program support, including reviewing and exporting highly confidential litigation data, including cases related to labor relations and personnel.
Serve as a LawManager system Administrator with access to highly confidential data, including cases related to labor relations and personnel.
Coordinate with other OTCs and IT to ensure that there is adequate backup to meet organization's needs.
Provide positive measurable customer satisfaction as part of OTC and other work efforts.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Experience with assisting with electronic discovery administrative tasks (e.g., data collection issue resolution, developing materials and leading user training, providing eDiscovery customer and vendor support, updating eDiscovery written guidance/procedures, etc.); AND
- Experience working with electronic discovery litigation tools or software (e.g., Relativity, etc.); AND
- Experience with other technology support functions (e.g., assisting with computer moves, IT ticket submission, technical system access and/or removal, technical customer support, etc.) AND
- Experience with providing technical advice/guidance or training to end users in a technical area.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
