About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Army National Guard Support Activity, Professional Education Center Services Division, Camp JT Robinson, Little Rock, Arkansas.
About the Surrounding Area: The Lavern E. Weber Professional Education Center, located at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Duties
Perform a variety of functions associated with military facilities, service contracts related to maintenance and repair of real property assets.
Perform liaison, project and program management duties as required.
Complete monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual and special functions reporting elements of the established programs.
Perform administration of existing or new service contracts.
Submit service orders for minor repairs and work orders for a variety of larger construction projects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- May be required to respond to emergencies after duty hours and on weekends.
- This position may be designated Key (2) and considered mission essential as work performed by the employee may directly bear on the functions, initiatives, and operations of the Installation and its agencies.
- The employee may be required to remain on duty or report for duty during severe weather or other installation closings or emergencies.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working with facility management software; performing a variety of functions associated with military facility operations such as service contracts related to maintenance and repair of real property assets; and administering existing or new contracts.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. (Must submit transcripts).
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
