Duties

Be a part of the Space Systems Command, SZS - SAP MANAGEMENT OFFICE team acquiring and fielding cutting edge solutions in space that must be protected to ensure continual support to our warfighters. Gain insight into why space is so important and how critical it is for the Nation to respond to today's threats by delivering the Nation's most advanced space systems using the Nation's most sensitive information - information that must stay preserved and unrevealed. Be an integral part of a diverse team of program managers, engineers, operators, developers, and other professionals turning science fiction into real capabilities in the hands of the warfighter. Chart new paths to success in a complex threat environment while protecting our Nation's most vital technologies.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Employee must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
• DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position.
• This position is not eligible for remote or telework.
• PCS/Relocation/Recruitment funding is authorized.
