Duties

This prestigious leadership position within Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) demands exceptional expertise in the field of computer modeling and simulation of space-related operations. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in providing astute guidance, expert advice, and incisive recommendations to a wide spectrum of key stakeholders, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, Intelligence Community, Combatant Commands, and the Air Force and Space Force headquarters, as well as their respective component activities.

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• This position is not eligible for remote work. Situational Telework only.
• Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special Sensitive security clearance.
• Position may include additional program security requirements in order to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. If so, incumbent must be willing to submit to a Counter Intelligence Polygraph and mandatory drug testing.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assign.
• Incumbent may be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• PCS and incentives may or may not be authorized.
