You will serve as a STUDENT CONTROL SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA). 1 VACANCY-KINGSVILLE, TX 1 VACANCY- CORPUS CHRISIT, TX 2 VACANCIES- MERIDIAN, MS 1 VACANCY- MILTON, FL

Duties

You will perform a full range of administrative assignments ensuring that all Naval Flight Training events are documented. You will be responsible for providing proper customer service etiquette to Instructor Pilots (IP) and Student Military Aviators (SMA) in the Student Control Department. You will utilize automated software from multiple resources to generate reports or briefing materials. You will verify event records for discrepancies or deviations prior to filing in Student records.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You must be willing to travel by commercial and/or government conveyance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of office automation duties (e.g. data input, customer service, data gathering, preparing reports, correspondence, and maintaining files), utilizing various systems and databases to support the corporate/organizational/command mission and goals; planning, organizing, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines; creating and maintaining schedules; typing to produce the full range of office automation work. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of 4 years of education above high school

OR

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
