About the Position: This position is located at the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC).

Duties

Plan weekly and monthly work schedules and operations for subordinates. Modify work methods for effective and economical accomplishment. Explain procedures and work requirements to subordinates. Review accuracy of partially/fully completed work. Identify and implement corrective actions of work related problems. Ensure maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires you to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment and annual physical examination.
• May require shift work or working alternate work schedule (4 10hr days/week)
• One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

Qualifications

Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE 12 months by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Position may be made permanent without further competition. Employees are not eligible for a detail in the OCONUS area unless already residing in the same overseas area (foreign or non-foreign) as the position being filled. Employees currently located in OCONUS (foreign or non-foreign) are not eligible for a detail to a CONUS position.
