Duties
Manages the day-to-day activities of a team of cyber security specialists who monitor the USCB networks 24x7 and respond to incidents.
Performs the Cybersecurity Operations Branch oversight activities to include project tracking schedules, risk registers, and risk and issue mitigation strategies for SOC and incident response activities.
Uses data collected from a variety of cybersecurity defense tools to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
Supervises and mentors’ civilian staff, setting goals for performance that align with the USCB and OCIO strategic vision and objectives.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Experience in managing a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) or equivalent incident response team, and Experience in using data collected from a variety of cybersecurity defense tools to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
