Duties

You will serve as a senior expert in the planning and execution of complex campaign level analysis based on Defense Planning and Programming Guidance, Integrated Security Constructs and other Joint Staff scenarios and policy guidance. You will serve as authoritative source for developing, conducting and analyzing Joint and Navy Campaigns and develop and analyze intelligence related to global military capabilities. You will lead, plan, and conduct analysis and manage a variety of studies, reports and projects including action as project manager of contractor supported studies and products. You will develop campaign and mission level model inputs and evaluate feasibility of all sources of input data utilized in model databases.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Leading, planning, and conducting analyses and managing a variety of studies, reports and projects; (2) Developing model inputs and evaluating feasibility of all sources of input data utilized in model databases; (3) Assisting in the development of operational and support campaign metrics; and (4) Preparing and delivering post-analysis reports. Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
