The position supports the mission and objectives of the ASH organization in the Intelligence & Threat Analysis Division, AXE-200.
Duties
Serves as an Intelligence Operations Specialist for Cyber Intelligence to assess cybersecurity and emerging technology threats, risks, and vulnerabilities while working within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) under the guidance of and in support of the Division Manager and team leader as part of the Cyber Intelligence Team within the Intelligence and Threat Analysis Division in the Office of National Security Programs and Incident Response. The Incumbent will perform multiple, varying, and complex assignments under limited direction of the manager, team leader, or more experienced specialist. Duties will include, but are not be limited to the following:
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS 10-12 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:-Experience applying all-source intelligence to assess cyber threats from potentially hostile or illicit actors to inform mitigation; AND- Experienced communicator, providing written and verbal assessments for senior leadership at the SES or General officer level. AND- Skill in engaging with community cyber partners within the IC, LE, DHS, DoD, and with industry and
international entities in response to cyber concerns that would be applicable to civil aviation.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
