We have an exciting opportunity to become the Assistant Director, Security Division. The position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) and is responsible for the leadership of the Agency’s planning and programming for physical security infrastructure, project security coordination, security review of all Agency Line Item Construction Program (LICP) projects, security project management, special programs, and AOC-wide security activities.
Duties
The ideal candidate will have experience in security programs and/or infrastructure in a significant complex of buildings and grounds. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Major Responsibilities:

Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, an applicant's one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful job performance.
To qualify at the GS-15 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-14 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis:
Providing administrative and technical supervision of security staff;
Performing security infrastructure program management to include managing the effective planning, programming, design and construction of security-related infrastructure and facilities projects.
Managing and formulating security policies, plans, and programs;
Researching and implementing complex studies involving major security programs of national impact.
Leading a multi-disciplinary team in executing a comprehensive program to address physical security requirements for facilities and infrastructure.
