About the Position: This is an Administrative Support Assistant (OA) GS-0303-06/07 position with the USACE Little Rock District, Operations Division. This position is located in Pine Bluff, AR.

Duties

Coordinates with CPAC representatives as needed and initiates informal inquires; researches technical problems and makes appropriate corrections. Processes payroll data received from various subordinate offices (i.e. Branches, Field Offices). Prepares a variety of documents to include correspondence tables, graphs, etc. using appropriate formats and equipment. Assists project personnel by explaining data necessary to facilitate procurement. Makes telephonic and written contacts with firms to obtain prices, discounts, delivery dates, etc.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A fully qualified typist is required.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. GS-06: specialized experience which includes 1) preparing documents such as correspondence and reports using automated reporting system ; AND 2) creating travel orders to include coordinating transportation arrangements for office staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). GS-07: Specialized experience is defined as: performing 2 out of the 3 following duties: 1) tracking expenditures for an office budget using an automated financial management system; or 2) consolidating or preparing data for reports; or 3) performing administrative support duties for an office, such as property record maintenance, training coordination, and tracking personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
