You will serve as a Visual Information Specialist (Medical) in the Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Center of NAVMEDSUP DET BETHESDA MD.
Duties
You will understand anatomy, physicology and medical terminology to create imaginary and medical illustrations that communicate complicated medical science and healthcare illustrations for patients and doctors.
You will have medical and scientific knowledge understand complex information and communicate in a clear visual narrative that is accurate, educational and engaging.
You will create technical and medical illustrations for brochures, medical scientific posters, dental table clinics, pamphlets, booklets and report art from verbal and written instructions.
You will select the type of material and means of automated production considered most suitable for specific visual production.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
To Qualify for GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Demonstrating ability to clearly and effectively articulate, present, and promote varied ideas and issues (to include sensitive or controversial topics) before a wide range of audiences.
Making clear and convincing oral presentations.
Listening effectively and clarifies information as needed.
Developing networks and builds alliances.
Collaborating across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
Presenting subject matter information in visual form in order to convey intended message to, or have the desired effect on, the intended audience.
Applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance.
Providing visual information counsel to internal and external entities as required to guide interactions between communicators and audiences.
Managing the availability and operation of visual information equipment, supplies, and systems to ensure material readiness and operational performance.
To Qualify for GS-09
